AI automation services for European businesses, built with GDPR in mind
Document processing, ERP workflow automation and support assistants for manufacturers, distributors, B2B services firms and clinics across the EU. Delivered remotely, English-first.
What we build for European businesses
Small and mid-sized businesses in the EU tend to run on solid ERP and accounting systems, but the work between them is still manual: supplier documents keyed in by hand, orders copied between portals, and customer questions answered one email at a time, often in several languages. Three of our services fit most often.
Document processing for manufacturers and distributors
Manufacturers and distributors handle a steady flow of supplier invoices, delivery notes, order confirmations and certificates, in different layouts and often in different languages. Document processing AI reads them, extracts the fields you need, checks them against the purchase order and the goods received, and posts them to the ERP. Anything uncertain goes to a person to check. See AI for manufacturers for the wider picture.
Workflow automation around your ERP
AI workflow automation takes over the steps people repeat every week: turning an RFQ email into a draft quote, updating order status for customers, collecting documents from new clients, building the Monday report. For B2B services firms it often means client onboarding and reporting; for distributors, order intake and exception handling. Where two systems were never meant to talk, integration services connect them.
Support assistants for B2B firms and clinics
An AI customer support assistant answers repeat questions from your own documents (product specifications, delivery terms, opening hours, preparation instructions), qualifies enquiries and passes the rest to a person with the conversation attached. Clinics often pair it with an AI voice agent for booking calls. Under the EU AI Act, both tell people up front that they are talking to an AI.
Client story · Krazimo
Krazimo, an AI agency, needed a ticket booking platform built for one of its clients in about three days. It shipped in three days. Krazimo reports 18 hours saved per week and 2.4× processing capacity. Its CTO, Mridul, said what stood out was how quickly we ramped up and shipped without needing to be managed. That is the way we run projects for European teams too.

Where we see demand across the EU
The patterns differ by country. What tends to come up most:
- Germany. Mittelstand manufacturers and distributors with document-heavy processes, accounts that run through DATEV, and a high bar for data protection paperwork before anything goes live.
- The Netherlands. Logistics, wholesale and distribution firms where order and shipping documents arrive by email at volume, often on Exact, with English widely used at work.
- Ireland. English-speaking SaaS and professional services firms that want lead follow-up, support and reporting automated without changing their CRM.
- France. Businesses where customer-facing work must be in French, so the language question comes first and the AI scope follows from it.
- The Nordics. Digitally mature teams that already use cloud tools well and want the remaining manual steps between them removed.
How remote delivery works
We don't have an office in the EU. Everything runs online:
- A free 30-minute discovery call at a time that suits you. We look at how the work moves today and where it slows down.
- A scoped proposal in EUR, with what we would build, the number it should move, and the price. No obligation.
- Build around your tools. Most systems go live in 30 to 60 days, including testing and onboarding your team over video.
- Measure and tune. Live reporting against the agreed number. You own the code and the data.
The work is led hands-on by our founder, Thoufic, with engineers who have built and shipped products at leading technology companies. Our team works on India Standard Time (UTC+5:30), which puts your full working day inside our afternoon and evening, from Dublin to Helsinki. Working sessions, reviews and onboarding happen live, in your hours. More in working with a remote AI team across time zones.
Language: English-first
Our systems are built English-first, which suits many B2B teams in the Netherlands, Ireland and the Nordics. If your customers or suppliers write in German, French, Dutch or another language, raise it on the first call. Reading multilingual documents is a different problem from holding a live conversation in that language, and we will tell you plainly what is achievable for each.
GDPR and the EU AI Act
GDPR. Any system that touches customer or employee data needs a data processing agreement with us and with every processor underneath, such as the AI model and hosting. EU data residency is available on request and agreed on the first call, along with who can see transcripts and how long they are kept. Under Article 22 of the GDPR, people have the right not to be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing that significantly affect them, so we design human review into those steps. Health data in clinics is a special category with stricter conditions. Our guide to scoping GDPR-compliant AI automation goes into detail.
The EU AI Act. The Act is risk-based. Most chatbots and voice agents are limited-risk systems whose main duty is transparency: telling people they are interacting with an AI. Obligations phase in between 2025 and 2027, with the transparency rules applying from August 2026 and most high-risk rules later. Uses such as screening job applicants or assessing creditworthiness fall into higher-risk categories with much heavier obligations. The European Commission's AI Act overview is a good starting point, and our EU AI Act guide for small businesses covers what applies to a chatbot or voice agent. None of this is legal advice: take your own.
The tools you already use
We connect to the systems common in European businesses rather than replace them: SAP Business One and Microsoft Dynamics 365 for ERP, DATEV in Germany, Exact in the Netherlands, Odoo, and HubSpot or Pipedrive for sales. If a step lives in spreadsheets and shared inboxes, we start there.

FAQ
Common questions
Does Flange have an office in the European Union?
No. Flange delivers remotely from India. Discovery calls, build, testing and team onboarding all run online, for businesses in the European Union as well as the United States and the UAE.
Is your AI automation GDPR compliant?
GDPR compliance depends on how a system is designed and used, so we do not make a blanket claim. We sign a data processing agreement, agree where data is stored (in the EU on request), and design human review into any decision that significantly affects a person. Take your own legal advice.
Does the EU AI Act apply to a chatbot or voice agent?
Usually yes, but lightly. Most customer-facing chatbots and voice agents are limited-risk systems with transparency duties: people must be told they are dealing with an AI. Higher-risk uses carry more obligations. We flag the category on the first call; your own counsel should confirm it.
Can your systems work in German, French or Dutch?
Our systems are built English-first. If you need German, French, Dutch or another language, raise it on the discovery call and we will tell you plainly what is achievable for your use case before you commit.
What time zone do you work in?
India Standard Time (UTC+5:30), which is two and a half to five and a half hours ahead of EU time depending on the country and season. Your whole working day overlaps with our afternoon and evening, so live calls are easy to schedule.
How much does AI automation cost for a European business?
Flange does not publish prices. Each project is scoped and priced in EUR after a free 30-minute discovery call, with no obligation. Cost depends mostly on how many systems it connects to, how messy the inputs are, and how much needs human review.
