AI automation for Singapore SMEs

Customer support assistants, WhatsApp lead pipelines and document processing for clinics, property agencies, F&B groups, trading and professional services firms in Singapore. Delivered remotely.

What we build for Singapore businesses

Singapore SMEs run lean. A clinic with a small front desk, a property agency where each agent handles their own WhatsApp, a trading company where two people process every invoice and shipping document, an F&B group taking bookings and supplier bills across several outlets. The work is not complicated; there is just a lot of it, and it lands on the same few people. Three of our services fit most often.

A support assistant for clinics, F&B and professional services

An AI customer support assistant answers repeat questions from your own information: services and prices you choose to share, opening hours, locations, what to bring, how to reschedule. It qualifies the enquiry, books real customers into your calendar and passes the whole conversation to a person when a question needs one. For medical and aesthetic clinics it takes the routine booking load off the front desk; it handles operational questions only and never gives clinical advice. Our page on AI for medical practices and clinics goes further. F&B groups use the same approach for reservations, event enquiries and catering requests, and professional services firms (accountants, corporate services, consultancies) use it for intake. If you prefer calls to chat, an AI voice agent does the same on the phone.

One pipeline for WhatsApp and property leads

In Singapore, customers reach businesses on WhatsApp first. That works until the enquiries sit in a dozen personal phones and nobody can see which ones were followed up. For property agencies in particular, leads from listing portals, ads and referrals arrive in different places and the fastest reply often wins. With AI lead generation we build one pipeline: every enquiry is captured, each lead has an owner, follow-ups are reminded and escalated, and you can see where leads drop off. Our guide to WhatsApp lead automation for Dubai sales teams is written for the Gulf, but the WhatsApp pattern applies in Singapore just the same.

Document processing for logistics and trading companies

Trading, logistics and distribution firms move a lot of paper: supplier invoices, purchase orders, delivery orders, packing lists and shipping documents. Document processing AI reads them, pulls out the fields that matter, checks them against what you expected and enters them into your accounting or inventory system, with a person reviewing anything the system is unsure about. Where several steps follow (approvals, matching, reports), AI workflow automation runs the rest of the chain. Our guide to automating invoice data entry shows the rollout step by step.

Client story · Kamai Elevators

Kamai Elevators, an elevator company working across four cities, had its leads landing in a WhatsApp group where they got lost. We replaced it with one lead pipeline: automatic intake from Meta forms and the website, one owner per lead, follow-up reminders that escalate to managers, a duplicate-quote check and in-app calling. Since go-live: 70% better operational efficiency, against a 30% target set by the founder. Kamai is not a Singapore business; the pattern is the same.

How remote delivery works

Flange's team works from India. Singapore Time (UTC+8) is two and a half hours ahead of India Standard Time (UTC+5:30), so the overlap is close to a full working day. Our morning starts before your lunch, and your afternoon is our working day. Calls from late morning onwards in Singapore fit easily, and questions get answered the same day. We don't have an office in Singapore, and we don't offer 24/7 human support; the AI systems run around the clock, and the people behind them work our hours.

  1. A free 30-minute discovery call. We look at how the work moves today and where it slows down.
  2. Agree the measure. Before we build, we agree the number that matters: response time, hours recovered, enquiries handled or leads worked. You get a scoped proposal, priced in SGD, with no obligation.
  3. Build around your tools. Most systems go live in 30 to 60 days, including integration, testing and onboarding your team over video.
  4. Measure and tune. Live reporting against the agreed number. You own the code and the data.

The work is led hands-on by our founder, Thoufic, with engineers who have built and shipped products at leading technology companies. Our guide to working with a remote AI team across time zones explains how discovery, build and onboarding run.

Language: English-first, other languages case by case

Our assistants and voice agents are built English-first, which matches the working language of most Singapore businesses. Some customers will write in Mandarin, Malay or Tamil, and some businesses serve communities where one of those matters more than English. If that is you, raise it on the first call. We'll scope it case by case and tell you plainly what works for your use case, rather than promise it up front.

Data protection in Singapore

Singapore businesses handle personal data under the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), administered by the Personal Data Protection Commission. The PDPA also contains the Do Not Call provisions: before a system sends marketing calls or text messages to Singapore numbers, the numbers need to be checked against the Do Not Call Registry unless you have clear consent. For AI specifically, the Model AI Governance Framework sets out good practice on transparency and human oversight. It is guidance, not law, but it is a sensible checklist and it matches how we build: a person checks where it counts.

Customer conversations and documents contain personal data, so we agree on the first call where data is stored, who can see transcripts and how long they are kept. Take your own legal advice on what applies to you; we build to what you and your advisers decide.

On funding: IMDA and Enterprise Singapore run schemes to help SMEs digitalise, and support may be available for some projects. Many schemes are tied to pre-approved solutions, so check eligibility on the official grant portals before you plan around it.

The tools Singapore businesses already use

We connect to what you have rather than asking you to switch. In Singapore that is often Xero or QuickBooks for accounts, WhatsApp Business for customer conversations, HubSpot or Zoho for the pipeline and Shopify for retail. If yours is an industry system or something built in-house, we'll check how it can be connected on the first call.

FAQ

Common questions

  • Does Flange have an office in Singapore?

No. Flange delivers remotely from India. Singapore is two and a half hours ahead of India, so most of your working day overlaps ours, and discovery, build, testing and onboarding all run online.

  • Can you automate WhatsApp enquiries for a Singapore business?

Yes. We build systems that take enquiries from WhatsApp Business, your website and ads, answer the common questions, give each lead an owner and keep follow-ups running, with a person stepping in where it matters.

  • Do your assistants speak Mandarin, Malay or Tamil?

Our systems are built English-first, which is the working language of most Singapore businesses. If you need Mandarin, Malay or Tamil, raise it on the discovery call and we will scope it case by case and tell you plainly what is achievable.

  • How do you handle the PDPA?

Customer conversations and documents contain personal data, so on the first call we agree where data is stored, who can see it and how long it is kept. If the system sends marketing calls or messages, the Do Not Call provisions apply too. Take your own legal advice on what applies to you.

  • Can a government grant cover the project?

IMDA and Enterprise Singapore run support schemes for SME digitalisation, and some support may be available. Many schemes cover pre-approved solutions, so a custom build may or may not qualify. Check eligibility on the official grant portals before you count on it.

  • How much does AI automation cost in Singapore?

Flange does not publish prices. Each project is scoped and priced in SGD after a free 30-minute discovery call, with no obligation. Cost depends mostly on how many systems it connects to, how messy the inputs are and how much needs human review.
