AI automation for businesses in India
WhatsApp lead pipelines, workflow automation and document processing for manufacturers, distributors, hospitals, real estate, D2C brands and education businesses in India. Built by a team based in India.
What we build for Indian businesses
India is our home market. Flange is based in India and the team works on India Standard Time, so there is no time difference to manage. The problems we see here are familiar: leads that live in WhatsApp groups and personal phones, sales teams who forget to follow up, accounts staff retyping invoices into Tally, and front desks at hospitals and clinics that spend the day on the phone. Three of our services cover most of it.
One lead pipeline for real estate, building services and D2C
In India, enquiries arrive on WhatsApp, from Meta ads, from listing portals and from the website, and they end up spread across groups and phones. With AI lead generation we build one pipeline: every lead is captured automatically, gets an owner, and follow-ups remind the owner and then escalate to a manager. You can see where leads drop off. This suits real estate developers and brokers, building services companies (elevators, facilities, interiors), education businesses handling admissions enquiries, and D2C and retail brands answering order and product questions. Our WhatsApp lead management page explains the approach, and our guide to WhatsApp lead automation is written for Dubai sales teams but follows the same WhatsApp pattern Indian teams use.
Client story · Kamai Elevators
Kamai Elevators is an Indian elevator company working across four cities. Its leads from Meta ads and the website were landing in a WhatsApp group, and many were never followed up. We built one lead pipeline: automatic intake from Meta forms and the website, one owner per lead, follow-up reminders that escalate to managers, a duplicate-quote check, in-app calling with call logging and a report on where leads drop off. Each person sees their own view on their phone. Since go-live: 70% better operational efficiency, against a 30% target set by the founder.

Workflow automation for manufacturers, distributors and hospitals
AI workflow automation takes the repeated steps a team does by hand and runs them on their own: turning a WhatsApp or email order into a sales order, sending dispatch updates to dealers, chasing payments, building the weekly MIS report, sending appointment reminders. Manufacturers and distributors feel this most, because the same order passes through sales, stores, dispatch and accounts. See our page on AI for manufacturers. Hospitals and clinics use it for appointment confirmations, reminders and intake; our page on AI for medical practices and clinics covers it, and we handle operational work only, never clinical decisions. If the phone is the bottleneck, an AI voice agent can answer and book calls.
Document processing for Tally and the back office
Document processing AI reads purchase invoices, GST invoices, delivery challans, purchase orders and forms, pulls out the fields that matter, checks them and enters them into Tally or your ERP, with a person reviewing anything the system is unsure about. For a distributor handling hundreds of supplier bills a month, this is often the biggest single block of hours. Our guide to automating invoice data entry walks through the rollout.
How we work with Indian businesses
Because we work from India, calls happen in normal IST working hours and questions get answered the same day. We still deliver remotely: there is no office for you to visit, and everything runs over video calls, shared documents and the tools you already use. That keeps the work moving whether you are in a metro or a smaller city.
- A free 30-minute discovery call. We look at how the work moves today and where it slows down.
- Agree the measure. Before we build, we agree the number that matters: leads followed up, response time, hours recovered or invoices processed. You get a scoped proposal, priced in INR, with no obligation.
- Build around your tools. Most systems go live in 30 to 60 days, including integration, testing and onboarding your team.
- Measure and tune. Live reporting against the agreed number. You own the code and the data.
The work is led hands-on by our founder, Thoufic, with engineers who have built and shipped products at leading technology companies. The AI systems run around the clock; the people behind them work IST business hours, not 24/7.
Language: English and Hindi, regional languages scoped
Our systems are built English-first, and most Indian businesses run their internal tools in English. Customers are different: many expect Hindi, or Hindi and English mixed, and in many states the regional language matters more than either. Raise this on the first call. We'll scope Hindi and any regional language for your use case and tell you plainly what works well (text is usually easier than voice) rather than promise it up front.
Data protection and messaging rules in India
Personal data in India is governed by the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. The Digital Personal Data Protection Rules were notified in November 2025, and most obligations, including notice and consent, security safeguards, breach reporting and data principal rights, are being phased in over about 18 months. MeitY keeps the official text of the Act and Rules. If your system makes promotional calls or sends promotional SMS, TRAI's commercial communication rules and the Do Not Disturb preference register apply. WhatsApp Business has its own opt-in rules for messages a business starts.
Calls, chats and documents contain personal data, so we agree on the first call where data is stored, who can see it and how long it is kept. Take your own legal advice on what applies to you; we build to what you and your advisers decide.
The tools Indian businesses already use
We connect to what you have rather than asking you to switch. In India that is often Tally for accounts, Zoho for CRM and books, WhatsApp Business for customer conversations, Razorpay for payments, Shopify for D2C stores, and Odoo or SAP Business One as the ERP. Where tools were never meant to work together, our AI and systems integration service connects them so data moves on its own.

FAQ
Common questions
Is Flange based in India?
Yes. Flange is based in India and the team works on India Standard Time, so calls happen in normal IST working hours. Discovery, build, testing and team onboarding run online, wherever in India you are.
Can you automate leads that come in on WhatsApp?
Yes. This is one of the most common things we build in India. Leads from WhatsApp, Meta ads, B2B portals and your website go into one pipeline, each with an owner, with follow-ups that remind and escalate. Kamai Elevators is the client story.
Do you work with Tally and Zoho?
Yes, we connect to the tools you already use. Tally, Zoho, WhatsApp Business, Razorpay, Shopify, Odoo and SAP Business One are common in India. Nothing gets ripped out.
Can the system talk to customers in Hindi?
Our systems are built English-first. Many Indian customers expect Hindi, or a mix of Hindi and English, so raise it on the discovery call. We will scope Hindi and any regional language for your use case and tell you plainly what is achievable before you commit.
What does the DPDP Act mean for an AI system?
The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 governs how personal data is collected and used, and its rules were notified in November 2025 with most obligations phased in over about 18 months. We agree on the first call where data is stored, who can see it and how long it is kept. Take your own legal advice on what applies to you.
How much does AI automation cost in India?
Flange does not publish prices. Each project is scoped and priced in INR after a free 30-minute discovery call, with no obligation. Cost depends mostly on how many systems it connects to, how messy the inputs are and how much needs human review.
