AI automation for businesses in Saudi Arabia

WhatsApp lead pipelines, customer assistants and AI receptionists for businesses in Riyadh, Jeddah and the Eastern Province. Delivered remotely, built English-first.

What we build for Saudi businesses

In Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and Khobar, most of the customer conversation happens on WhatsApp and the phone. Leads arrive from Instagram, Snapchat and Meta ads, land in a salesperson's WhatsApp, and are followed up when someone remembers. Three of our services fit that pattern most often. They are common in real estate and property management, clinics, car services and dealerships, logistics, hospitality and contracting, where the team is busy on the job and the phone keeps ringing.

One pipeline for WhatsApp and ad leads

We build an AI lead pipeline that pulls every enquiry from WhatsApp Business, Meta lead forms and your website into one place. Each lead gets one owner. Follow-ups are reminded, then escalated to a manager when they slip. You see where leads drop off and which campaigns bring buyers, not just clicks. For a property developer or brokerage this means no enquiry about a unit sits unread over the weekend. For a dealership it means a test-drive request reaches a salesperson the same hour. Our guide to WhatsApp lead automation for Gulf sales teams walks through how it is set up.

An assistant that answers the repeat questions

An AI customer support assistant answers the questions your team answers twenty times a day: prices, opening hours, availability, documents needed, where a delivery is. It is trained on your own information, qualifies the enquiry and books the real ones. Clinics use it for appointment questions, hotels and serviced apartments for booking enquiries, and logistics firms for shipment status. When a question needs a person, it hands over the whole conversation. See AI chatbot vs AI agent for which kind of system fits.

An AI receptionist for the calls you miss

An AI voice agent picks up inbound calls when your team cannot, answers common questions, works out whether the caller is a real lead, and books them or passes them to a person. Every call is transcribed and logged to your CRM. It suits contracting and maintenance companies whose staff are on site, car service centres at peak hours, and clinics where the front desk is already full. Our medical practices page shows how this works in a clinic, with no clinical decisions made by the system.

Client story · Kamai Elevators

Kamai Elevators, an elevator company working across four cities, had its Meta ad leads landing in a WhatsApp group. We replaced it with one lead pipeline: automatic intake, one owner per lead, escalating follow-ups, a duplicate-quote check and in-app calling. Since go-live: 70% better operational efficiency, against a 30% target set by the founder. Kamai is not a Saudi business; the pattern is the same.

The full story is on our WhatsApp lead management page and in the Kamai Elevators case study.

The tools we connect to

We build around what you already run; nothing gets ripped out. In Saudi Arabia that usually means WhatsApp Business as the main customer channel, with Zoho or Odoo behind it in small and mid-sized firms, HubSpot or Salesforce in sales-led teams, SAP in larger groups, and Foodics in restaurants and cafés. Our integration work connects these so a lead, a booking or an order moves between them without someone copying it by hand. On the first call we check what your setup exposes, so the plan matches what your tools can actually do.

How remote delivery works

We don't have an office in Saudi Arabia. Everything runs online:

  1. A free 30-minute discovery call, at a time that suits you. We look at how the work moves today and where it slows down.
  2. A scoped proposal with what we would build, the number it should move and the price, which we can quote in SAR. No obligation.
  3. Build around your tools. We connect to the CRM, WhatsApp, calendar and phone system you already use. Most systems go live in 30 to 60 days, including testing and onboarding your team over video.
  4. Measure and tune. Live reporting against the agreed number. You own the code and the data.

The work is led hands-on by our founder, Thoufic, with engineers who have built and shipped products at leading technology companies.

Time zones and the working week

Saudi Arabia runs on Arabia Standard Time (UTC+3). Our team works from India on India Standard Time (UTC+5:30), two and a half hours ahead. A 9am start in Riyadh is 11:30am for us, so most of your working day overlaps with ours, and calls are easy to place. Your week runs Sunday to Thursday, so we plan check-ins and the go-live date around the days both teams are working, and agree up front how anything that comes up outside those hours is handled. The AI system itself runs around the clock; our people do not, and we won't pretend otherwise. More on this in working with a remote AI team across time zones.

Language: English-first, Arabic scoped case by case

Many Saudi customers expect to write and speak in Arabic, and a customer-facing channel has to meet them there. Our systems are built English-first. Internal tools, such as a lead pipeline, a dashboard or a document workflow your team uses, often work well in English. A WhatsApp assistant or voice agent that talks to your customers is different. If you need Arabic chat or voice, say so on the first call. We scope it case by case and tell you plainly what is achievable for your use case, rather than promise it up front.

Data protection in Saudi Arabia

The Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) is overseen by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA). It came into force in September 2023 and became fully enforceable in September 2024, when the one-year transition period ended. DLA Piper keeps a clear overview of data protection in Saudi Arabia. WhatsApp chats and call recordings contain personal data, and the PDPL places conditions on transferring personal data outside the Kingdom. Some sectors, and many larger buyers, also expect data to stay in Saudi Arabia. Because our team works from India, we agree on the first call where data is stored, whether a Saudi-hosted setup is needed, who on our side can access what, and how long transcripts are kept. Take your own legal advice on what applies to you.

FAQ

Common questions

  • Does Flange have an office in Saudi Arabia?

No. Flange delivers remotely. Discovery calls, the build, testing and team onboarding all run online, for businesses in Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and Khobar as well as the rest of the Gulf.

  • Do your AI assistants and voice agents work in Arabic?

Our systems are built English-first. If your customers write or call in Arabic, raise it on the discovery call. We scope Arabic chat or voice case by case and tell you plainly what is achievable for your use case before you commit to anything.

  • How does the Saudi PDPL affect an AI system that handles customer data?

The Personal Data Protection Law, overseen by SDAIA, covers the names, numbers and messages an AI system handles, and it places conditions on moving personal data outside the Kingdom. We agree on the first call where data is stored, who can see it and how long it is kept. Take your own legal advice on what applies to you.

  • Can you connect to WhatsApp Business, Zoho or Odoo?

Yes. We build around the tools you already use, including WhatsApp Business, Zoho, Odoo, HubSpot and Salesforce. On the first call we check what your setup exposes, so the plan matches what your tools can actually do.

  • How much does AI automation cost for a Saudi business?

Flange does not publish prices. Each project is scoped after a free 30-minute discovery call, and we can quote in SAR. Cost depends mostly on how many systems it connects to, how messy the inputs are, and how much needs human review.

  • How do time zones and the Saudi working week fit with your team?

Our team works on India Standard Time, two and a half hours ahead of Riyadh, so most of your working day overlaps with ours. Your week runs Sunday to Thursday, so we plan check-ins and go-live around the days both teams are working.
